High Gloss UV Varnish

High gloss UV varnish for large-format print – just like litho or screenprint!

Now at last, you can have spot UV varnish on your large-format digital prints! This is something that has been missing in the digital print arena for many years, and it’s been very difficult to achieve off-line. We have had experience in the past of trying to get our prints UV varnished by screenprint, and it was a nightmare – the lays were never right, and so the register would wobble about by 5mm from print to print. And the cost of setting up the screenprint was always very high, especially if you only need a small number of prints.

But now, with our Fuji Acuity printer, you can have spot UV varnish any time you want, for only marginal extra cost! Fuji’s Uviprint technology means that registration is spot-on perfect every time! And the Acuity is a flat-bed printer, so we can print colour, double-hit white and varnish on any material you fancy, up to 12mm thick.

You can change the droplet size on the machine, to change the strength of images and varnishes. It’s difficult to describe how good UV Varnish makes UV prints look – you need to see it for yourself! You can order a sample pack here, or you are always welcome to come in and see all our printers in action.

True white ink

New true-white ink lets you create the window designs you’ve always dreamed about!

We all know that until now, printing white ink from digital printers has usually given poor results – the ink is too thin, so it doesn’t create really opaque areas, and if you use it as a backup to colours on a clear vinyl, it makes the colours look a bit wishy-washy as well.

But now, at last, we can offer you amazing true whites, using our new Fuji Acuity hybrid UV printer!

The Fuji’s true white is as thick and opaque as a screenprint ink, and we can print these whites on to roll-fed or sheet materials up to 1.6m wide. We can print on to a huge variety of materials, including:

  • Clear and coloured acrylic
  • Glass
  • Frosted and clear vinyl
  • Coloured laminates
  • MDF and other timber materials
  • Coloured boards, including eco-friendly materials

The white ink is great for white-only graphics in windows – and it also really punches colours out if you use it as a backing layer. These pictures show some of the amazing effects you can achieve, but they don’t do justice to the strength and opacity of the new true-white ink. We recommend you see an actual sample – contact any member of our team on 020 8805 1333 or team@justdisplays.co.uk and we’ll be very happy to send you a sample pack or arrange a demo.

Just Displays creates large format graphics for Chancery Lane office development

The team at Just Displays were commissioned with producing and installing graphics for The Cursitor, a brand new prestigious office development situated on Chancery Lane. The marketing team needed graphics for both the launch party and the general marketing messages across two floors and the reception area, including Phototex removable wall graphics, self-adhesive vinyl wall graphics, prop branding and over 300 meters of non-slip floor graphics.

We produced and installed the whole project within 48 hours, aiding our customer to host a very successful event.

See below for images of the graphics Just Displays produced for The Cursitor plus a video where you can see the installation in action.

Quantum Super Wide for London Cabaret Club show launch

Just Displays is no stranger to supplying banner stands for press events. On this occasion, the London Cabaret Club were launching a new Bond-inspired show with a VIP event and required a wide stand with a step-and-repeat pattern for guests to stand in front of for photographs. We suggested the Quantum Wide, as it is 2.4 metres wide and holds a non-reflecting graphic, perfect for photographing.

See below for photos of the celebrities posing in front of the Quantum Wide on the night.

T3 Easy Build for ESA awards night

The people at ESA (European Sponsorship Association) were organising their annual high profile awards night, but were let down by their graphics and branding supplier. A member of staff who had used Just Displays previously at another company recommended that their colleagues give us a call. It was a last-minute job and there was very little time to create the branding required, which consisted of a large free standing T3 Easy Build branded wall for the winners to pose in front of for photographs, branded banner stands, banners for the bar area and table plans on easils, but we pulled all the stops out to make sure ESA’s event could go ahead as planned. Everything was installed within a two hour window and removed the following day within an hour. Talk about speedy service! See below for images of the T3 branded wall in action.

Quantum Super Wide for The Fall magazine launch

A brand new fashion magazine, called The Fall, was holding a party to celebrate the launch of the magazine and their very first issue. Of course, at any high-profile event where celebrities are involved, pictures must be taken and therefore a branded backdrop is required to further promote the magazine and their sponsors. A previous customer of ours kindly recommended Just Displays to supply this for them. We produced a Quantum Super Wide Banner Stand, loaded with a high quality non-reflecting branded graphic, which would make the perfect backdrop for photographs of all the guests. The people at The Fall magazine were so impressed with what we provided, the following week they went on to recommend us to the ESA for their awards night. See below for images of the stand in action on the night.

T3 Easy Build System for Education Committee Brexit discussion at UCL

Just Displays has been supplying UCL with banner stands, pop-ups and wall graphics for over fourteen years. On this occasion, they required a self-standing branded back drop with an exact fit for a specific area for the Education Committee’s discussion of the impact of Brexit on Higher Education, which was to take place at UCL. The university asked if they could use our hire service, a great solution for those times when a product is only needed the once, or when storage would be a hassle.

With this in mind, we recommended the T3 Easy Build System. Readily available for hire, the T3 System can easily be configured to fit any given space. As the event was being filmed and photographed, a non-reflecting surface on the graphic was essential. We printed the graphic onto Emporer textile at 1200 dpi and stretched it over the frame. See below for images of the branded wall in action at UCL, and click here to see a video.

Rebranding Citizens Advice headquarters

When Citizens Advice needed a revamp on their new headquarters, they called on Just Displays for the best solutions on how to internally rebrand the building. The task was to decorate a large number of walls, doors, windows and cabinet tops with the correct Citizens Advice branding. The client wanted graphics that gave the appearance of being permanent but at the same time being easily removable with no damage to the applied surfaces.

We decided the best solution was to use a combination of Phototex and Self Adhesive Vinyl. Once demonstrated, Citizens Advice was delighted with this technique and placed their order. Production was carried out over ten days and the installation took just two days to complete.

Citizens Advice was so pleased with the result that we are now successfully rolling out a supply of the graphics to the rest of their 300+ branches around the UK.

All change: Here’s to a brand new look

After fourteen successful years of Just Displays we felt it was high time we hit the refresh button on our corporate identity. This meant a brand new website, new logos and fresh branding.

Seven years ago we were awarded with the environmental management system, ISO 14001, something we are very proud to have achieved. We wanted our brand identity to reflect this and so decided on a fresh, vibrant green as the new colour of Just Displays – signalling new changes and environmentally friendly standards.

You can see this new colour implemented all over the brand new website which we have re-built to accommodate for an improved customer experience, even more information and plenty of resources. You will also notice we have removed the option to buy direct from the site, but don’t fear! It’s just as easy as ever to purchase from Just Displays, just call us on 020 8805 1333 to get the latest prices and place your order.

We hope you enjoy the new website and look of Just Displays as much as we do, and can’t wait to hear our customers’ feedback!

St Andrew’s Church Barnsbury

Just Displays were commissioned by St Andrew’s Church to offer a solution for the restoration of some beautiful paintings that were discovered inside the alcoves either side of the central stained glass window.

Having been exposed to many years of damp, plus witnessing a few wars, the paintings were in desperate need of restoration. It was agreed that, as a short-term solution, a temporary copy should be mounted over the top so the artwork could still be enjoyed whilst the church decided on the best way to restore them. As the church is a listed building and therefore drilling or altering the building in anyway is off the cards, the team at Just Displays were posed with finding the best solution to implement this.

After an extensive site survey we decided to produce a rigid aluminium frame that could be wedged inside the alcoves with coloured Foamex spacers to match the image. We decided to print onto Textile, as it would lend itself to the nature of the image.

The imagery below illustrates the whole project from site survey to completion.
