True white ink

New true-white ink lets you create the window designs you’ve always dreamed about!

We all know that until now, printing white ink from digital printers has usually given poor results – the ink is too thin, so it doesn’t create really opaque areas, and if you use it as a backup to colours on a clear vinyl, it makes the colours look a bit wishy-washy as well.

But now, at last, we can offer you amazing true whites, using our new Fuji Acuity hybrid UV printer!

The Fuji’s true white is as thick and opaque as a screenprint ink, and we can print these whites on to roll-fed or sheet materials up to 1.6m wide. We can print on to a huge variety of materials, including:

  • Clear and coloured acrylic
  • Glass
  • Frosted and clear vinyl
  • Coloured laminates
  • MDF and other timber materials
  • Coloured boards, including eco-friendly materials

The white ink is great for white-only graphics in windows – and it also really punches colours out if you use it as a backing layer. These pictures show some of the amazing effects you can achieve, but they don’t do justice to the strength and opacity of the new true-white ink. We recommend you see an actual sample – contact any member of our team on 020 8805 1333 or team@justdisplays.co.uk and we’ll be very happy to send you a sample pack or arrange a demo.

Easily removable and free-standing branding for a launch event at an hotel

Case Study:
Easily removable and free-standing branding for a launch event at an hotel

Client: Central London design agency
Requirement: Temporary branding for a hotel display space, for a property launch
Venue: Heathrow Marriott Hotel

The Brief:
To provide unique branding, to be highly eye-catching, without causing any damage or residue to the hotel walls.

The Solution:
We manufactured a highly bespoke free-standing display system out of plumber’s copper piping, which was used to hang graphic boards.

We also applied some very complex removable vinyl lines directly to the hotel walls along with a number of large format removable Phototex graphics. Outside the hotel in the entrance foyer and car park we also installed feather flags.

Customer comments and feedback:
“Thank you to you and your team for helping to make the soft launch such an amazing success at the weekend. They even managed to sell a few properties on the day which was an added bonus.”

Just Displays supply a flexible, reusable stand system with meeting areas for the NHS

Case Study:
Just Displays supply a flexible, reusable stand system with meeting areas for the NHS

Client: NHS
Requirement: A stand for an exhibition hall, to include some private conversation areas. To be reusable and adaptable to a wide variety of spaces.
Venue: Liverpool exhibition centre

The Brief:
The system needed to work well in the initial 6m x 6m display area. It had to be easy for NHS staff to break down and install again at different venues, and flexible enough to fit into a large variety of spaces.

The Solution:
We proposed the Centro system as the ideal solution – it is excellent value for money, is easily transportable in custom built cases, and can be built and broken down with virtually no tools or skills. It is highly flexible, so it can be re-configured into a multitude of shapes and sizes. It also features a large range of excellent accessories.

Customer comments and feedback:
“the Centro system is a piece of cake to use, and please can you also thank Alan for his assistance in helping us to build it on our first outing – much appreciated”

Creating eye-catching but very robust outdoor hoardings and flags for a housing development

Case Study:
Creating eye-catching but very robust outdoor hoardings and flags for a housing development

Client: Leading Design Group
Requirement: Provide very robust, but eye-catching hoardings and branding for a new housing development
Venue: West Drayton

The Brief:
Our client needed to provide a very large quantity of branded hoardings for their site, which had to be manufactured and installed over a seven day period to meet a very important deadline.

The Solution:
We produced 180m of digitally printed Dibond panels, overlayed with metallic copper finish vinyl, and fifteen high quality, semi-permanent flag poles with double-sided flags.

Just Displays had to pull out all the stops and introduce a temporary nightshift to meet our customer’s deadline. To speed up the installation, all of the copper cut vinyl overlays were applied in the factory prior to installation. Specialist clamps also had to be designed and manufactured to fix the heavyweight flag poles to the concrete blocks supplied by the contractor.

Customer comments and feedback:
“They look great! You can see the sun catching the copper which is awesome!”

Using floor graphics to show different office spaces in a commercial property development

Case Study:
Using floor graphics to show different office spaces in a commercial property development

Client: Leading London Design Agency
Requirement: High quality branding for a landmark commercial property launch event
Venue: Central London office development

The Brief:
To create an engaging and immersive set of large format graphics, for walls, windows and floors

The Solution:
We recommended Phototex removable graphics for use on the main large walls.
These leave no residue on removal or damage to the walls. Frosted and coloured film was also applied to a range of windows, mirrors and lift doors. A non-slip floor vinyl was also applied to the main floors to illustrate clearly the areas being offered to clients.

Customer comments and feedback:
“All of the on-floor marketing looks absolutely fantastic, and Vincent, Alan and Scott did an incredible job getting it all produced and installed so professionally and with good humour (which always makes such a huge difference). We did a walk round with the client yesterday and they only had positive things to say.
It makes such a difference to work with suppliers like Just Displays that really do feel like an extension of our own team.”

Keeping church paintings ‘visible’ during restoration work

Case Study:
Keeping church paintings ‘visible’ during restoration work

Client: St Andrews Church, Barnsbury
Requirement: St Andrew’s Church needed a solution to minimise disruption, and enable the church to function normally, during the restoration of some beautiful paintings that had been discovered inside the alcoves on either side of the central stained glass window.
Venue: Barnsbury – North London

The Brief:
To provide a solution to sympathetically replicate the newly exposed artwork, without affecting the building

The Solution:
Just Displays proposed that, as a short-term solution, a temporary copy of the artworks should be mounted over the top of them, so that they could still be enjoyed while the church decided on the best way to restore them. As the church is a listed building, and drilling or altering the building in any way is not possible, we had to find the best way to implement this, in a completely self-supporting way.

After an extensive site survey we decided to produce a rigid aluminium frame that could be wedged inside the alcoves with coloured Foamex spacers to match the image. We decided to print onto Textile, as it would lend itself as it would lend itself to the nature of the image.

Customer comments and feedback:
“I just wanted to convey our gratitude for the printing and installation of the two Ten Commandment displays that you carried out last week. The feedback we received from the congregation this Sunday was amazing. We will certainly be recommending you to any other churches with a listed status that need new displays!”

Requirement: Total Re-Brand of Headquarters Building
Venue: Head Office, Central London

The Brief:
Citizens Advice were in need of a complete brand refresh and invited Just Displays along to demo all of the new print and application techniques available in the market.

The Solution:
Citizens Advice has been a customer of Just Displays for over fourteen years.
