New true-white ink lets you create the window designs you’ve always dreamed about!
We all know that until now, printing white ink from digital printers has usually given poor results – the ink is too thin, so it doesn’t create really opaque areas, and if you use it as a backup to colours on a clear vinyl, it makes the colours look a bit wishy-washy as well.
But now, at last, we can offer you amazing true whites, using our new Fuji Acuity hybrid UV printer!
The Fuji’s true white is as thick and opaque as a screenprint ink, and we can print these whites on to roll-fed or sheet materials up to 1.6m wide. We can print on to a huge variety of materials, including:
- Clear and coloured acrylic
- Glass
- Frosted and clear vinyl
- Coloured laminates
- MDF and other timber materials
- Coloured boards, including eco-friendly materials
The white ink is great for white-only graphics in windows – and it also really punches colours out if you use it as a backing layer. These pictures show some of the amazing effects you can achieve, but they don’t do justice to the strength and opacity of the new true-white ink.
